The privacy principles (hereinafter: principles) contain information on why STORENT OÜ collects, uses, or shares your personal data in relation to the relationship between you as a customer and STORENT OÜ. Please read these privacy principles carefully.


STORENT OÜ takes care of your privacy and the protection of your personal data and follows your right to the lawful processing of personal data in accordance with applicable legislation – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter: regulation) and other applicable privacy and data processing laws.
In light of this, STORENT OÜ has developed privacy principles with the aim of providing you with the information required by the regulation.
The privacy principles apply to the processing of data regardless of the form and/or environment in which you provide us with your personal data.

2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We are responsible for the personal data that the user has provided directly to STORENT (by filling out forms, entering data into applications, contacting us via social networks, or visiting our customer service centers), as well as the personal data that we have obtained in any other way for fulfilling contractual obligations.
Personal data that we collect fall into categories such as:
general data, such as first name, last name, date of birth, and personal ID code, identity document details;
contact details, such as email address, address, and phone number, position in the represented company, authorization details, preferred communication language. Contact details also include the content of communications – emails, letters, faxes, employee notes about the conversation;
information related to the customer relationship, such as the history of created offers, order history, rental transaction history (rented equipment, start and end dates of the rental, address of the equipment's location, additional services used);
creditworthiness assessments and debt-related data (including amount owed, start and end dates of debts, and other data obtained from debt collection agencies or credit information providers);
other data that arise during the fulfillment of the contract.


3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
We process personal data for the following purposes:
3.1. Identification and Service Provision
The purpose of collecting your personal data is to identify you (including through digital solutions like SmartID), provide our services to you, fulfill or draft contracts, manage and maintain customer relations between you and STORENT or the company you represent as a manager, authorized person, contact person, or in any other capacity. The legal basis for processing personal data is the contract between you or the company you represent.
3.2. Creditworthiness Assessment and Debt Collection Data
We also process your personal data to assess the creditworthiness of you or the company you represent. If you do not pay invoices on time, we may transfer your personal data to a debt collection agency (e.g., CKE Inkasso) and/or to one of the debtor registries, such as a credit bureau. In these cases, the legal basis for processing personal data is our legitimate interest in protecting our business interests and receiving payment for our services.
3.3. Financial Accounting Data
To comply with our obligations under applicable accounting and tax laws, we process your personal data within the scope and timeframe specified in those acts.
3.4. Marketing
We may use personal data to contact you, send you information related to STORENT’s services, notify you of changes to our products and services, or request feedback on our products or services.
We may send you commercial notices about STORENT’s products and services, marketing campaigns, and other services. We ensure you have the option to opt out at any time from receiving commercial notifications.
STORENT may also profile you during the processing of your personal data to personalize offers and provide you with the most relevant content.


4. DISCLOSURE AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
We do not sell or otherwise transfer user personal data to third parties.
Data is disclosed to our employees who need it to fulfill their direct duties and to provide corresponding services under the contract or its formation.
We may transfer user personal data:
to our contractual partners and subcontractors who provide services in accordance with our instructions as authorized processors and subcontractors;
to authorities or legal service providers if there are suspicions of illegal or non-compliant activities;
to authorities, legal service providers, or other parties if required by law or an order from an authority.
We only transfer users' personal data to third parties we trust. To ensure that users’ personal data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws, we carefully select our partners.


5. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EU/EEA
We do not transfer your personal data outside the territory of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

When users use STORENT websites, information about usage may be stored in cookies. STORENT retains your personal data for as long as they are necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and processed. The retention period for business documents, including accounting documents and financial records, is 5 or 10 years.


8. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to request written information about the personal data we process, using the contact details provided in section 11 below. You have the right to receive one (1) free copy of the personal data being processed that concerns you specifically. The responsible controller has the right to charge a reasonable fee for additional copies to cover the costs associated with fulfilling the request.
If needed, you can request in writing that your incorrect personal data be corrected, using the contact details in section 11 or the appropriate function on our website.
You have the right to request the deletion or restriction of your personal data, as well as to object to processing based on legitimate interests under certain conditions.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to processing at any time, which you have previously given to the responsible controller. However, exercising these rights may mean that your ability to receive services from STORENT will be limited going forward.
Under certain conditions, you have the right to data portability, which includes the right to obtain your personal data and transfer them to another responsible controller without negatively affecting the rights and freedoms of others.
You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data if you believe that the processing violates privacy provisions.
You also have all other rights arising from the regulation.


9. SECURITY
Our priority is confidentiality, so we actively take steps to ensure that users’ personal data is processed with the utmost care. We take all necessary measures to ensure that users’ and other individuals’ data is processed securely, adhering to these privacy principles and the regulation.
However, since transmitting data over the internet and mobile networks often involves risks, the person sending the data assumes all risks. It is important that you also take responsibility and ensure that your data is protected. You are personally responsible for keeping your username and password confidential.


10. AMENDMENTS TO THE PRINCIPLES
We reserve the right to modify or amend our privacy principles at any time. The latest version of the privacy principles is always available on our website. The new version is considered communicated to users if the user has received an email notifying them of the new version (using the email address the user has designated for communication with STORENT) or if the user has been notified of the new privacy principles in any other manner.
